Coast Appliances generously donated a dishwasher to SHARE Family & Community Services for our Coquitlam location, a hub where children, adults, and seniors come to access vital programs and services. This thoughtful gift has had a big impact behind the scenes.
The Lincoln location is often the first point of contact for community members seeking support. It’s home to programs including early intervention services for children, family counselling, rent bank and tenant advocacy, addiction and mental health supports, seniors’ outreach, and employment programs. With so many people walking through our doors every day, many facing enormous stress and uncertainty, we strive to offer a warm, respectful, and welcoming environment.
That includes the small but important comfort of sharing food and refreshments, whether during a counselling session, a parenting support group, a seniors’ drop-in, or our SHARE staff communal lunches. Thanks to Coast Appliances, our team can safely and efficiently manage the daily cleanup for the cups, dishes, and utensils that move through our busy space. Staff, volunteers, parents, and program participants all benefit from having a reliable, high-capacity dishwasher — and it’s already become an essential part of our daily operations.
In 2022, SHARE served over 22,000 people across the Tri-Cities. Every act of support helps us meet that growing need with care and dignity.
