At SHARE, we are committed to providing service to our clients that is respectful, positive, and confidential SHARE values differences and is committed to treating people fairly. We obey the Human Rights Act and work with people regardless of race, ethnicity, language, religion, marital status, gender, sexual orientation, age, disabilities, economic status, political affiliation or national ancestry.
What you can expect from SHARE staff and volunteers:
- We will tell you about our service and you will be asked if you agree to participate.
- Getting service with SHARE is voluntary.
- Your privacy will be protected.
- Our work with you is based on your goals and your needs. If you disagree with how we are working together you can talk about this with SHARE staff.
- Any service we do is to help you and not to punish you.
- We use positive practices as the main way to encourage change.
