SHARE Community Living Program
SHARE Community Living groups for children and youth not only provide learning opportunities, develop motor and life skills, but also enables each child to experience interaction and a connection with their peers, in a safe environment that teaches appropriate social practice.
Community Living Program offers a variety of weekly groups for ages 5 – 18 years, as well as Individual Support services.
Saturday Activity Club - A social group for younger children
Youth Workers provide activity-based learning opportunities to help develop age-appropriate social, motor and life skills.
- Who is it for: Children 5-8 years old with a diagnosed developmental disability. Children aged 5-8 (morning group 10am-12pm & afternoon group 1-3pm).
- When: Every Saturday for 2 hours.
- Where: SHARE office - Lincoln Centre - #104 - 3020 Lincoln Avenue, Coquitlam, BC V3B 6B4.

Social Club / Social T - Social groups for youth
Youth Workers provide activity-based learning opportunities to help develop age-appropriate social, motor and life skills. At least once a month, the youth plan a special themed event.
- Who is it for: Social Club- Youth aged 8-12 with a diagnosed developmental disability Social T- Youth aged 13-18 with a diagnosed developmental disability.
- When: Social Club - Every Friday 5:30pm to 7:30pm. Social T - Every Friday 5:30pm to 8:00pm
- Where:
- Social Club (8-12) is located at SHARE's Clarke St site - 2615 Clarke Street, Port Moody
- Social T (13-18) is located at the Tri-Cities Children’s Centre #101-2312 St. Johns Street, Port Moody, BC, V3H 0L7.

Super Youth - Skills and Job Training Group for Teens
This is a social/ skills group for youth aged 15-18 years old. The focus is on learning about skills building resources and volunteer training in the surrounding community. The group makes appearances at various community events to take on supervised leadership and peer modelling roles.
- Who is it for: Youth aged 15 -18 with a diagnosed developmental disability. A moderate knowledge of community safety is also an expectation for participants of this group, as well as a desire to pursue a job or volunteer position.
- When: Every Monday afternoon (4:00pm-6:00pm). 2 hours per session.
- Where: Different community sites including SHARE’s Clarke Street site, 2615 Clarke Street, Port Moody, or Tri-Cities Children’s Centre #101-2312 St. Johns Street, Port Moody, BC, V3H 0L7

League of Extraordinary Youth for Youth who are non-binary or who identify as Boys
League of Extraordinary Youth is a social group for youth who are non-binary or who identify as boys aged 13-18. The focus is on preparing for adulthood, increasing independence and social skills between peers and in the community. There may be opportunities for the group to discuss gender specific issues.
- Who is it for: Youth ages 13-18 with a diagnosed developmental disability. A moderate knowledge of community safety is also an expectation for participants of this group.
- When: Every Tuesday evening 6:30-8:30pm, 2 hours per session. Some special activities occasionally occur on other days.
- Where: Tri-Cities Children’s Centre #101-2312 St. Johns Street, Port Moody, BC, V3H 0L7 and SHARE’s Mountain View Elementary site.

Friendship Circle for Youth who are non-binary or who identify as Girls.
Friendship Circle is a social group for youth ages 10-18 years old. The focus is on preparing for adulthood, increasing independence and social skills between peers and in the community. Older youth in the group explore mentorship and leadership skills with the younger participants. There may be opportunities for the group to discuss gender specific issues.
- Who is it for: Youth ages 10-18 with a diagnosed developmental disability.
- When: Wednesday evenings 4:30-6:30pm, 2 hours per session.
- Where: Tri-Cities Children’s Centre #101-2312 St. Johns Street, Port Moody, BC, V3H 0L7.

Skills Club for Youth.
A Saturday Group for youth to work on their skills development. This can include academics, or life skills in the community or at home.
- Who is it for: Youth ages 9 - 12 with a diagnosed developmental disability. There are two age groups: Children aged 9-12 (morning group), and 9 -12 (afternoon group).
- When: Every Saturday for 2 hours.
- Children aged 9-12 morning group 10am to 12pm.
- Children aged 9-12 afternoon group 1-3pm.
